Cancellation Policy

At Solace Massage Therapy, we understand that life happens and unexpected changes to your schedule will pop up from time to time. To protect your time and ours, we ask that you cancel as soon as possible.This allows us the opportunity to offer your reserved appointment to another client. 

 

Notice period:
we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. This allows us time to fill the now vacant appointment time slot.
 
Late cancellation fee:
cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled treatment fee.
 
No-show fee:
if you do schedule time with an RMT but do not show up for said appointment without providing notice may be charged 100% of the scheduled 
treatment fee.
 
Exceptions:
the above fees may be waived in emergency situations including, but not limited to, sudden illness, family emergencies, unsafe travel conditions, or other significant situations outside of your reasonable control. These events will be considered with compassion on a case-by-case basis.

How to cancel:
you are welcome to use one of several means of communication available to cancel or reschedule including telephone, voicemail, email, or through the online booking system. The timestamp of your chosen communication method will be considered the official cancellation time.

Payment terms:
outstanding cancellation or no-show fee must be paid before another appointment will be booked. A receipt will be issued noting “missed/cancelled appointment fee” for your records. Please note that cancellation fees cannot be submitted to an insurance provider as no service was exchanged.
 
Illness:
to safeguard the therapist's and other patient's health and safety, if you are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness (including cold, flu, fever, COVID, ect.) we encourage you to cancel your upcoming appointment.
